MARINA RIMINESE

MARINA RIMINESE ASSOCIATION, a new entrepreneurial reality of Rimini’s coast, has recently developed an interesting programme of initiatives, the so-called RIMINI GOLDEN BEACH PROJECT. It is aimed at improving Rimini’s coast through the implementation of important energy conservation programmes, dedicated safety plans for both tourists and workers, sustainable development projects and appealing tourist events.

Marina Riminese Association is provided with state-of-the-art safety equipment which are able to match all relevant European standards, and gathers modern lifeguard towers featuring portable defibrillators which were designed and
built by skilled experts (they are the first of their kind in Italy).

By the end of 2010, the Association will improve safety and sustainable development through the inauguration of modern photovoltaic arrays (2,8 kW), which will be able to satisfy the energy requirements of local bathing establishments while producing renewable energy and decreasing CO2 emissions. This project competes for the recognition of several International prizes dealing with sustainable development.

Local bathing establishments use CCTV as a means of increasing security and making the beach safe and accessible
all day long.

Marina Riminese Association also arranges interesting touring events, the so-called FAMILY LAND shows, which give both children and their parents the possibility to spend pleasant moments on the beach.

MARINA RIMINESE ASSOCIATION is part of CONFESERCENTI RIMINI. It was founded by the owners of some bathing establishments who were interested in implementing and improving the services and facilities offered by Rimini’s beaches.

Over the course of the past three years, it has almost tripled the number of both members and clients, while involving public opinion through the implementation of interesting sustainable development projects, the progressive enhancement of accessibility and the improvement of both working and business conditions.

Marina Riminese Association constantly strives to improve the quality of offered services through the promotion of targeted training courses which are held by skilled businessmen and acclaimed marketing experts.
